Iran: 136 deaths due to coronavirus (COVID-19), tally at 3,739

TEHRAN, April 6 (KUNA) -- Iranian authorities said Monday that deaths due to the coronavirus (COVID-19) reached 136, bringing the total succumbing to the global-spreading virus to 3,739.
A media official said that the number of those contracting COVID-19 reached 60,500 in the country after 2,274 new cases were uncovered.
Those recovering from the virus reached 24,236 after 4,083 were overcame the disease.
Iran is one of the global hotspots that was heavily affected by the fast-spreading virus. (end) mw.gta
