Italy's daily coronavirus death drop for first time

ROME, April 5 (KUNA) -- Italy Sunday said daily increase of deaths resulted from the coronavirus dropped to 525 with zero infections for the first time since the outbreak of the pandemic in the country.
Head of Civil Protection agency Angelo Borrelli told his daily press briefing total registered cases was 91,246 persons.
He added no new infections were registered since yesterday while number of people in critical conditions dropped by 17 cases to 3,977.
There were 3,050 people who recovered from the virus to reach a total of 58,320, added Borrelli.
He said total fatalities reached 15,887. (end) mn.bs
