COVID-19 infections in Germany nears 92,000

BERLIN, April 5 (KUNA) -- Germany reported coronavirus cases rose by 6,000 on Sunday compared to Saturday, bringing total number of infections to 91,714.
According to Robert Koch Institute, the official apparatus responsible for counting and publicizing tallies of the contagion, said number of deaths resulting from the pandemic reached 1,342.
The communicable disease was first reported in China late last year but it later spread to many nations worldwide including European countries and the United States of America. (end) anj.rk
