LONDON, April 4 (KUNA) -- Dean of the diplomatic corps and the State of Kuwait Ambassador to the United Kingdom Khaled Al-Duwaisan affirmed wellbeing of all Kuwaiti students in the nation.
In remarks to KUNA and Kuwait Television on Saturday, Al-Duwaisan said all the Kuwaiti students were well and maintaining continuous contacts with the Kuwaiti Cultural Office.
Reiterating the call on the students to heed the British government instructions amid the coronavirus issue, the ambassador noted that nonexistence of infection cases among them signaled their deep awareness and adherence to health advices as to abstaining from mingling or partaking in gatherings.
The ambassador said "he has direct orders" from His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to follow up on the students' conditions.
All personnel at the embassy and affiliate offices are working round the clock to provide services for any Kuwaiti citizen who might be "stranded" in Britain.
He has also affirmed that "evacuation of (citizens)" is proceeding and schedule in this respect will be declared soon. (end) kd.rk
