JEDDAH, April 4 (KUNA) -- Saudi Ministry of Interior declared on Saturday round the clock curfew in a number of residential districts in some Jeddah governorates effective today until further notice.
Official Saudi Press Agency (SPA) said in a statement the curfew was imposed as part of protective measures in Jeddah for safety of citizens and residents.
The ministry also said entry and exit from the province was also prohibited, with exemptions for those serving in vital sectors. Residents will be allowed to venture out for necessities from 6 a.m. until 3 p.m. in the governorate
It had declared identical measures in several other regions of the kingdom as part of extraordinary steps to stem spread of coronavirus (COVID-19). (end)
