Kuwait oil price up 68 cents to USD 17.36 pb
KUWAIT, April 3 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went up by 68 cents to USD 17.36 per barrel Thursday after it was at USD 16.68 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Pertoleum Corporation (KPC) Friday.
The price of oil went up as US President Donald Trump said on his Twitter account that he spoke with Saudi Crown Prince Mohammad bin Salman and expected that Russia and Saudi Arabia will agree on decreasing production by 10 or even 15 million barrels per day (bpd).
Trump deemed that set as positive for the oil and gas industries.
The price of the Brent crude went up by USD 5.20 to USD 29.94 per barrel, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which rose by USD 5.01 to USD 25.32 pb. (end) km.gta
