KUWAIT, April 2 (KUNA) -- Chinese health authorities on Thursday announced six more fatalities and 35 infections; all abroad cases, in different Chinese cities.
China's National Health Commission said in a daily report carried by Xinhua news agency that no local case was registered in mainland China.
This brings the total number of China's imported infections with this contagious disease up to 841, of which 140 discharged, while 701 hospitalized, including 18 cases in a critical condition, it added.
The commission confirmed that the country's death toll is now up to 3,318, with a total of 81,589 infections. (end)
