Kuwait MoI promotes 1,919 officers

KUWAIT, April 1 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Deputy Prime Minister and Minister of Interior Anas Al-Saleh Wednesday issued an edict promoting a total of 1,919 police officers.
Out of the figure, 195 officers were promoted from the rank of lieutenant colonel to colonel, 427 from major to colonel, 528 from captain to major, 440 from first lieutenant to catain and 329 from lieutenant to first lieutenant, the Ministry of Inerior said in a press statement. (end) tb.mt
