KUWAIT, March 30 (KUNA) -- The number of infections and deaths of the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) continues to grow globally, defying world measures to contain the lethal virus.
In Spain, the official Spanish TV said that the coronavirus death toll climbed to 7,716 and the infections to 87,956.
It added that 16,780 have recovered from the virus and left the hospitals after receiving the medical treatment.
Meanwhile, in Palestine, the health ministry confirmed a new infection case due to the coronavirus, taking the total to 10, said the ministry' spokesperson Dr. Ashraf Al-Qedra in a statement.
In Morocco, the health ministry announced that the death cases surged to 33, while the infections to 534.
Meantime, the Algerian authorities discovered eight new coronavirus cases, noting that the patients were evacuated from different countries. (pick up previous)
