PARIS, March 29 (KUNA) -- Death cases from the coronavirus in France have risen to 2,606 and the number of infections increased to 40,174, the ministry of health said Sunday.
It added in a statement 292 death cases and 2,599 infections were registered in the past 24 hours.
Prime Minister Edouard Philippe warned yesterday the spread of coronavirus would be more tough in April.
He said the first 15 days of April would be harder than the previous period.
France is in almost complete lockdown in a bid to prevent further spread of the virus. (end)
