KUALA LUMPUR, March 29 (KUNA) -- Malaysia Sunday registered seven deaths as a result of coronavirus to raise tally of fatalities to 34, while there were 150 people testing positive for COVID-19 to increase the tally to 2,470.
The department of health said in a statement five men and two women, with ages between 27 and 91 and suffered from chronic diseases, passed away from the virus.
It said there were 73 people placed in the intensive care unit and 52 patients in need of ventilators. It added that 68 persons recovered from the virus. (end)
