BRUSSELS, March 28 (KUNA) -- Sixty-four more Coronavirus patients died in Belgium in the last 24 hours, raising the total toll to 353, Belgian health ministry officials announced Saturday.
More than 9 in 10 of the deceased were over 65 years old, but one of them was 30-years old.
In addition, 1,850 new cases of contamination were reported in Belgium, which brings the total to 9,134 people officially infected with Covid-19.
Health official said 5,475 cases were in the Flanders region, 2496 in Wallonia region and 980 in Brussels.
There are now 3,717 people in the hospital who are infected with the coronavirus. That is 575 more than yesterday, and from this group, 789 people are in intensive care. (end)
