KUWAIT, March 19 (KUNA) -- The price of Kuwaiti oil went down by USD 2.14 to USD 29.75 per barrel Wednesday after it was at USD 31.89 pb the day before, said the Kuwait Oil Corporation (KPC) Thursday.
The spread of the coronavirus (COVID-19) globally and countermeasures from various countries have had a great impact on prices and markets around the world.
The price of the Brent went down by USD 3.85 to reach USD 24.88 per barrel, the same case with the West Texas Intermediate, which plummeted by USD 6.85 to USD 20.37 pb.
There is no telling how or when the coronavirus pandemic will end, but until then, it would be expected that the global economy and the oil market will feel the negative impact of this new menace. (end)
