Health calls on arrivals from 7 countries to compulsory home quarantine for two weeks

KUWAIT, March 7 (KUNA) -- Ministry of Health announced Saturday that all persons who arrived in Kuwait from the following countries (India, Bangladesh, Philippines, Sri Lanka, Syria, Lebanon, and Egypt) must follow preventive health procedures and guidelines.
A statement by the ministry added "persons who arrived from the previously-mentioned countries, are obliged to implement compulsory home quarantine, for a period of two weeks from the date of departure." Last night, the cabinet banned flights from the same previously mentioned countries for a period of one week, due to the spread of coronavirus. (end) mak.mb
