Belgian airlines reduces flights to Italy due to Coronavirus

BRUSSELS, Feb 28 (KUNA) -- Belgium's national carrier Brussels Airline Friday announced reviewing its flight offer and cancel a number of flights to and from Northern Italy between March 2-14.
The decision is due to strong decline in demand for air travel within Europe because of Coronavirus, according to a statement by the Airlines.
A number of flights to Milan Linate, Milan Malpensa, Rome, Venice and Bologna were cancelled, it noted, pointing out that 30 percent of all flights to these destinations have been scrapped.
It said that its priority at this moment is to rebook passengers to other available flights. If a passenger does not wish to travel, he/she will receive a full refund. (end) nk.hb
