Kuwait's diplomatic mission in Slovakia celebrate nat'l day

VIENNA, Feb 27 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Ambassador to Slovakia Yusuf Al-Shemali hosted the 59th National Day celebrations and 29th commemoration of Liberation day last night, which was attended by many politicians and parliamentarians of Slovakia including friendly nation diplomats.
Al-Shemali extended congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, and the people of Kuwait on the occasion of the country's national and liberation day.
In his statement to KUNA, the ambassador welcomed Slovakian government officials who attended the function.
Both countries share a special relationship that has prospered in many fields, especially economically with a recent agreement signed to promote investment between the nations, said Al-Shemali.
Deputy Speaker of Slovakia's National Council, Martin Klus, gave a statement to KUNA expressing joy and congratulating the State of Kuwait on this occasion, and on the relations both parliaments share.
Present at the ceremony was former Minister of Foreign Affairs Pavol Demes, Deputy Minister of Environment Norbert Kurilla, Head of Foreign Affairs administrations, in addition to members of diplomatic corps. (end) amq.aq
