MANAMA, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's Ministry of Health confirmed on Monday evening that a female citizen, arriving from Iran via Dubai, tested positive for the novel coronavirus (COVID-19).
The passenger, showing symptoms of the disease upon arrival at Bahrain International Airport, had to undergo medical tests at a specially-designed hall in the airport and the results came positive, the ministry said in a statement carried by Bahrain News Agency (BNA).
It affirmed taking the necessary precautions to check all arrivals from coronavirus-hit areas so as to prevent spread of the disease in the Kingdom. (pickup previous)
