Kuwait Embassy in London celebrates Nat'l Days

LONDON, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Dean of the Diplomatic Corps and Kuwait Ambassador to the United Kingdom Khaled Al-Duwaisan hosted on Monday a reception to mark Kuwait's 59th National Day and the 29th Liberation Day.
On this ocassion, Al-Duwaisan conveyed in a statement to KUNA the greetings and congratulations to His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and His Highness the Crown Prince Sheikh Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah as well as His Highness the Prime Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah.
Al-Duwaisan stressed the historical deep-rooted and distinguished ties between Kuwait and Britain, noting that the Kuwaitis will never forget Britain's fair and supportive stances to their country throughout history.
Al-Duwaisan commended the large number that attended the reception, reaching 3000 dignitaries including some British politicians, ministers and MPs of Lords and House of Commons as well as members of Arab, Muslim and foreign accredited diplomatic missions in London.
