Kuwait begins heavy crude oil project

KUWAIT, Feb 24 (KUNA) -- Kuwait Oil Company (KOC) announced on Monday start of the heavy crude oil project in North Kuwait -- the company largest venture.
The KOC said in a press release that the kick-off of the project was due to the personnel efforts to make it coinciding with the national days.
The company was established in 1934 as a subsidiary of Kuwait Petroleum Corporation. Its prime role centers on oil and gas exploration, drilling and producing. (end) md.rk
