Amiri decree issued on cabinet reshuffle

KUWAIT, Feb 16 (KUNA) -- An Amiri decree No 49/2020 has been issued on a cabinet reshuffle on Sunday.
The decree says that after being acquainted with the Constitution, the decree No 290/2020 regarding the Cabinet formation, the decree No 41/2020 on accepting the resignation of Minister of Social Affairs, the decree No 42/2020 on appointing Acting Minister of Social Affairs and in line with the request of His Highness the Prime Minister, it is decided as follows: Article one: The following posts will be amended as follows; Khaled Mohammad Ali Al-Fadhel is Minister of Oil and Maryam Aqil Al-Sayed Hashem Al-Aqil is Minister of Social Affairs and Minister of State for Economic Affairs.
Article two: Barrak Ali Barrak Al-Shitan was appointed as Minister of Finance, and Mohammad Hejji Ali Bushehri as Minister of Electricity and Waters.
Article three: The Cabinet should inform the National Assembly about this decree which comes to effect since the date of its issuance. The Article added that every text runs counter to the provisions of this decree is cancelled, asking for publishing the decree at the official gazette. (pickup previous) tb.hm
