Kuwait FM attends MSC-2020 panel discussion

KUWAIT, Feb 15 (KUNA) -- Minister of Foreign Affairs Sheikh Dr. Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah took part in a panel discussion on Saturday, themed "Bridging Troubled Waters: De-escalation in the Gulf." The event was as part of the agenda of the 56th Munich Security Conference (MSC-2020).
Addressing the panelists, Sheikh Dr. Ahmad highlighted the need to ensure freedom of navigation in the Arabia Gulf.
He said the State of Kuwait continues making efforts to deescalate tensions in the region and reach reconciliation.
The Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) member states have played a central role in security and stability of the region over the last decades, he added. (pickup previous) msa.gb
