Al-Zamalek players celebrate trophy wining
DOHA, Feb 14 (KUNA) -- Egypt's Al-Zamalek outclassed Tunisia's Esperance 3-1 on Friday to win the African Super Cup in Doha.
It was the fourth time in Zamalek's history that they won the trophy as the African Confederation Cup holders overpowered the current African Champions League winners.
Al-Zamalek claimed a fourth CAF Super Cup following triumphs in 1994, 1997 and 2003.
Meanwhile, Esperance , who came into the match as the Confederation of African Football (CAF) Champions League winners, has now lost four of its five Super Cup matches, with its sole victory coming in 1995. (end)
