"We are taking this proactive measure to slow down travel, and possibly help prevent the entry of the 2019-nCov," Jaime Morente, the commissioner of the Philippines' Bureau of Immigration, said in a statement.
Moreover, the Philippino Health Secretary Francisco Duque said that 14 people were isolated after being suspected for Corona infection.
The suspected cases are from China, Brazil, Germany, and US who visited the City of Wuhan, Duque added.
However, Minister Duque assured that The Philippines does not yet have a confirmed case with (2019-nCoV).
The virus originated in the central Chinese city of Wuhan late last year, spreading to other cities including Beijing and Shanghai, in addition to the United States, Thailand, South Korea and Japan. (end) aab.mah
