Kuwaiti Health Min. discusses coronavirus with supreme cmte

KUWAIT, Jan 26 (KUNA) -- Kuwaiti Health Minister Sheikh Dr. Basil Al-Sabah met Sunday with members of the permanent Supreme Committee to implement international health regulations, discussing latest developments related to Coronavirus.
The meeting also aims to follow up on recommendations to raise level of capabilities against the disease with relevant ministries and official institutions in the country.
In a statement, the ministry said the minister held another meeting with leaders of the relevant sectors and departments to ascertain readiness of the sectors and contingency plans for any developments regarding spread of the new virus. (end) mrf.aa
