Aseeri's grill involves actions taken after becoming Min. - MP Al-Damkhi

KUWAIT, Jan 21 (KUNA) -- MP Dr. Adel Al-Damkhi said his grilling of Minister of Social Affairs Dr. Ghadeer Aseeri is constitutional, regarding her statements and actions after she became minister.
The remarks came during his speech at the National Assembly's session on Tuesday, while discussing the articles of his interpellation.
The grilling involves tasks assigned to Aseeri, including executing the government's general policy, according to article 58 of the constitution, Al-Damkhi said.
The MP also denied allegations that he is grilling Aseeri for actions and statements she made prior to becoming minister.
Al-Damkhi said Aseeri lost political credibility and is not paying enough attention to the importance of cooperation between the executive and legislative authorities. (pickup previous) jy.fn.ag
