Palestinian dies from injuries

GAZA, Jan 19 (KUNA) -- A Palestinian man succumbed to death on Sunday as he was injured by Israel in the Great March of Return and Breaking the Siege along the Gaza border in 2018, Palestinian Health Ministry said. Omar Al-Hajjar, 30, a northern Gaza national, was wounded by the Israeli occupation forces' bullets during the weekly peaceful marches on Gaza borders, the ministry added in a statement.
The marches began on March 30, 2018 and continued for 19 months. The Palestinians taking part in the marches called for breaking the siege and returning to their homes occupied by the Israeli occupation troops.
Dozens of Palestinian were 'martyred' in the marches and hundreds others wounded by the Israeli fire. The higher commission of the march announced last December suspension of the rallies until March 30, 2020. (end) wab.sma.hm
