Israel launches air raids on Gaza

GAZA, Jan 15 (KUNA) -- The Israeli occupation army launched airstrikes on the Gaza Strip on Wednesday evening, the Palestinian news agency reported.
The Israeli air raids targeted a number of sites in the northern part of the Palestinian enclave, causing damage to several nearby houses, according to the agency.
No casualties have been reported due to the Israeli attacks as of yet.
Meanwhile, the Israeli occupation army admitted in a statement that it attacked targets in Gaza, claiming that the strikes came in response to the firing of rocket-propelled grenades from inside the Gaza Strip. (end) wab.mt
