PARIS, Dec 15 (KUNA) -- French League 1 leader Paris Saint Germain (PSG) cruised to an easy 4-0 away win Sunday against midlands opponent, St. Etienne, strengthening PSG's lead at the top of the table.
First-half scorers included Leandro Paredes after nine minutes and PSG star Kylian Mbappe in the 43rd minute, just before the break.
St. Etienne struggled to contain the visitors after Aholou was sent off in the 25th minute.
Mauro Icardi got a third for the Paris side after 72 minutes, and Mbappe got his second goal one minute before time.
Brazilian forward Neymar missed a PSG penalty, but the result was never in doubt as the Paris side dominated possession from the start.
PSG now has 42 points and is 7 points clear of nearest rival Marseille. (end)
