KUWAIT, Dec 12 (KUNA) -- National Assembly Speaker Marzouq Al-Ghanim on Thursday sent a cable of congratulations to Chairman of Kuwaiti Red Crescent Society (KRCS) Dr. Hilal Al-Sayer, over winning permanent membership in the Standing Commission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC), during the 33rd International Conference of the RCRC, held in Geneva, Switzerland.
Al-Ghanim said that this victory reflects Dr. Al-Sayer's role in the relief and humanitarian field, wishing him nonstop success.
Last night, Al-Sayer was elected as member of the Standing Commission of the Red Cross and Red Crescent (RCRC) for a four-year term. (end)
