RIYADH, Dec 10 (KUNA) -- All leaders of the Gulf Cooperation Council (GCC) arrived in the Saudi capital to head their countries' delegations to the Supreme Council 40th session, slated for later today.
King Salman Bin Abdulaziz welcomed Oman's Deputy Premier Fahad Al-Saeed, Qatar's Prime Minister Sheikh Abdullah Bin Nasser, UAE's Vice President Mohammad Bin Rashid and Bahrain's King Hamad Bin Issa Al-Khalifa.
Saudi Arabia is hosting the Gulf summit for the second time in a row amidst regional and international instabilities that would be at the forefront of the summit's discussions.
The GCC was formally established in May 1981 and consists of Kuwait, Bahrain, Qatar, the UAE and Saudi Arabia. (end) mdm.amn.hb
