KUWAIT, Dec 10 (KUNA) -- 1979 -- The Kuwaiti Football Association (KFA) was reformed in line with law 42/1978 concerning regulation of national sports' authorities. KFA joined the International Federation of Association Football (FIFA) in 1962, the Asian Football Confederation in 1964 and the Arab federation in 1974.
1986 -- Late Amir Sheikh Jaber Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah issues decree on regulating real estate.
2000 -- Kuwait wins confidence of the General Assembly of the International Equestrian Federation and was named member of the executive bureau of the union's board.
2007 -- The cabinet pardons families of martyrs of financial liabilities and debts.
2009 -- Kuwaiti national Fuad Al-Rebi'a returns home after spending eight years in the US-run Guantanamo Bay prison. He was cleared from terrorism allegations.
2009 -- Kuwait elected as a member in the World Allergy Organization, through Kuwait Humanity Best Society, the first Gulf country to be elected in this medically type organization.
2014 -- Kuwait donates USD six million to help support UN agencies, funds and programs for 2015.
2016 -- His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah issues a decree to form the 34th cabinet headed by Sheikh Jaber Mubarak Al-Hamad Al-Sabah, which included 15 ministers. (end) mb
