Trump says FBI probe "attempted overthrow" of US gov't

WASHINGTON, Dec 9 (KUNA) -- US President Donald Trump described an FBI investigation into possible links between his presidential campaign aides as an "attempted overthrow" of the government.
Commenting on the report released by Justice Department Inspector General, Trump told reporters at the White House that "it's a disgrace, what's happened with respect to the things that were done to our country. It should never again happen to another president.
"It is incredible, far worse than I would have ever thought possible.
"The report actually, especially when you look into it and the details of the report, are far worse than anything," he added.
Trump added that he was looking forward to a report being prepared by Attorney General John Durham on the investigation into Russia's interference in the recent US presidential elections.
Earlier, Justice Department Inspector General Michael Horowitz released his report about the FBI's investigation of ties of four Trump aides to Russia, when the president was running for president in 2016. (pick up previous) asj
