White House: "good day" for Trump following impeachment hearing

WASHINGTON, Dec 5 (KUNA) -- The White House said Wednesday evening that it was "a good day for President Donald Trump and a bad day for the Democrats," in light of the first House Judiciary Committee hearing.
White House Press Secretary Stephanie Grisham said in a statement, "the only thing the three liberal professors established at Chairman Nadler's hearing was their political bias against the President." "It did nothing to change the fact that, despite weeks of hearings in this sham process, the President did nothing wrong. Congress should get back to working for the American people," she added.
She stressed that the United States-Mexico-Canada (USMCA) trade agreement, infrastructure and drug pricing "all await action from (House) Speaker Pelosi." "Instead, House Democrats continue to ignore their constituents by focusing on this pathetic and desperate charade," she remarked.
The US House of Representatives' Judiciary Committee held on Wednesday public hearings of President Donald Trump impeachment process during which four law professors gave their views and assessments about the alleged legal and constitutional violations committed by Trump during his controversial call with Ukraine president last July.
