Bahrain King praises "noble mission" of security personnel

MANAMA, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- Bahrain's King Hamad bin Isa Al-Khalifa on Wednesday stressed the necessity of adhering to the rule of law and the noble security mission.
This came in King Hamad's speech during a ceremony marking the 100th anniversary of establishing police in Bahrain, commending police role in maintaining national security and stability. "We are confident of the cohesion of our internal front and our national unity, which represent the cornerstones of national security and stability," he said.
He thanked all Interior Ministry's personnel for their humanitarian and security efforts aiming to maintain the country's stability.
The King prayed to Allah the Almighty to maintain security, stability and prosperity in Bahrain.
Meanwhile, Interior Minister Rashid bin Abdullah Al Khalifa lauded all efforts by the ministry's personnel in preserving stability and security of the country.
In addition, Kuwait's Interior Ministry Undersecretary for General Security Affairs Sheikh Faisal Nawaf Al-Ahmad Al-Sabah and Assistant Undersecretary for Ports Affairs Major General Mansour Al-Awadhi attended the ceremony. (end) hmd.hm
