BEIRUT, Dec 4 (KUNA) -- The Lebanese Presidency announced on Wednesday that parliamentary consultations would be held next Monday, December ninth, ahead of naming the new head of government.
A statement by the Presidency revealed that the procedure was in line with various articles of the Lebanese constitution.
Since October 17, Lebanon has been witnessing protests, calling for forming a government of specialists to be able to address financial positions and improve living conditions in the country. (end) ayb.gta
