Putin commends Russian presence in Syria

MOSCOW, Nov 22 (KUNA) -- Russian President Vladimir Putin said on Friday that Russian military in Syria managed to prevent terrorist fighters' migration to Russia.
Addressing a Russian National Security Council meeting, Putin said the Russian military operation in Syria was really a serious test for Russian forces.
On Washington's pullout of the short and intermediate-range missile treaty, the Russian leader said the US withdrawal from the treaty enhances global instability.
