Trump accuses Iran of covering up for "tremendous violence" it commits

WASHINGTON, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- US President Doland Trump accused Thursday Iran of covering up for "tremendous violence" the government of Tehran was committing against the people, including shutting down internet.
"Iran has become so unstable that the regime has shut down their entire Internet System so that the Great Iranian people cannot talk about the tremendous violence taking place within the country," Trump tweeted.
The Iranian government "want ZERO transparency, thinking the world will not find out the death and tragedy that the Iranian Regime is causing!," he added.
The European Union (EU) called on Iranian security forces earlier today to exercise maximum restraint when dealing with protesters.
Iranians have been staging protests since last Friday against the government's decision to increase fuel prices. (end) rsr.bs
