IAEA delegation to discuss nuclear problems with Iran next week

VIENNA, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- A high-level delegation from the International Atomic Energy Agency (IAEA) will visit Iran next week to discuss some pending nuclear problems.
The delegation will include some experts and inspectors who are interested in the Iranian nuclear file, IAEA Acting director General Cornel Feruta told reporters.
They will also focus on the latest developments in this file, Feruta said.
He warned against speculations regarding the future of the nuclear agreement after Iran entered the fourth phase in terms of decreasing its commitments to the nuclear deal signed in 2015.
He pointed out that the agency's recent reports delivered clear messages to Tehran so as to abide by the provisions of the agreement, stressing that agency's action will remain purely technical and neutral.
Feruta accused Iran on Thursday of not cooperating with the agency in the circumstances in which the UN inspectors found natural uranium particles at a secret Iranian site.
He said in a speech before the Board of the Governors that the agency continued communication with Iran on these particles, but the latter gave no information in this matter. (end) amg.hm
