WASHINGTON, Nov 21 (KUNA) -- The US Department of Defense confirmed Thursday the deaths of two American soldiers who were supporting Operation Freedom's Sentinel in Afghanistan.
The Pentagon said in a statement that both soldiers died on Wednesday in Logar Province "when their helicopter crashed while providing security for troops on the ground."
"The incident is under investigation," it added. (end)
