KUWAIT, Nov 19 (KUNA) -- The national team of Kuwait beat Nepal 1-0, Tuesday, within the 2022 World Cup and 2023 Asia Football Confederation (AFC) qualification match for the tournaments to be held in Qatar and China respectively.
Kuwait's sole goal came via striker Bader Al-Mutawwa in the 28 minute of the match.
Kuwait is now up to 10 points and is positioned second in Group B topped by Australia and including Jordan, Taiwan, and Nepal.
Kuwait played four matches beating Nepal in the away match by 7-0, drawing with Jordan 1-1, losing to Australia 0-3, and thrashing Taiwan 9-0. (end)
