BERLIN, Nov 18 (KUAN) -- The Ambassador of Kuwait to Germany Najeeb Al-Bader presented, on Sunday evening, his credentials as a non-resident Ambassador to the President of Lithuania Gitanas Nauseda, during a ceremony held at the Presidential Palace in Vilnius, Lithuania.
Al-Bader said, in statement obtained by KUNA, that he conveyed the greetings of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah to Nauseda on the occasion of his election as the President of Lithuania last July.
The diplomat also carried His Highness's wishes of further progress and success to the new President and Lithuanian people.
Kuwait is working to boost bilateral ties between both nations and in all field of mutual interest, he said.
Al-Bader endorsed Lithuania's honorable and courageous role during the Iraqi invasion to Kuwait as it supported all the international resolutions in defense of our country.
He hailed the capabilities of Lithuania in digital governance and economy, expressing hope to benefit of its expertise on that matter.
Al-Bader met a number of state officials in Lithuania and tackled issues contributing in the enhancement of political, economic and parliamentary cooperation.
The Lithuanian President warmly welcomed the Kuwaiti Ambassador, and passed his greetings to His Highness the Amir, praising His Highness's distinguished role in dealing with key issues in the Middle East region. He expressed his delight over the eminent bilateral relations between both countries, especially at the economic and commercial levels, in ways that best serve the interests of Lithuanian and Kuwait.
