GCC chief appreciates efforts of secretariat's staff

JEDDAH, Nov 12 (KUNA) -- Secretary-General of the Gulf Cooperation Council Dr. Abdullatif bin Rashid Al-Zayani on Tuesday extolled the dedication of the staffers of the GCC Secretariat who contribute to the progress of the march towards integration.
"The staffers of the GCC Secretariat work selflessly to promote the work mechanisms of the Council, employ the latest management systems and realize the noble targets of the Council," he said.
Dr. Al-Zayani made the comments while attending a ceremony to award ISO Certificate in quality and information security to the GCC Secretariat from the Center of Excellence for Information Assurance, King Saud University, in Riyadh.
The ceremony gathered Kuwait Ambassador to Saudi Arabia Sheikh Ali Al-Khaled Al-Jaber Al-Sabah and his peers from other GCC member countries.
On a similar note, Sheikh Ali Al-Khaled said, "Winning this prestigious certificate testifies to the dedication and professionalism of the GCC Secretariat's staffers." Congratulating the Secretariat on the win, he highlighted, in statements to KUNA, the need to continue prioritizing the care for human resources as key too comprehensive development in the GCC member states.
