KUWAIT, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- The Kuwaiti daily newspapers gave prominence in Wednesday's editions to the joyful event; comeback of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah, following successful medical checkups in the United States.
"Zanat," was the word headlined by "Al-Rai" daily, meaning His Highness return beautified the homeland and brought joy to the citizens, while "Al-Seyasah" titled the front page with identical greetings for His Highness.
"Al-Qabas" reflected sincere sentiments of pleasure and relief among the citizens toward His Highness, "Leader of Humanitarian Action," architect of the country's development and "captain of the ship," who has been leading the country amid grave surrounding events.
"An-Nahar" adorned the front page with, "Kuwait is lighted," also depicting the Kuwaiti people's feelings toward His Highness, renowned of his sagacious diplomacy in running the country "amid the darkest circumstances." "Al-Sabah" daily greeted His Highness, with the sentence, "Kuwait today is ornamented with the arrival" of the Amir.
"Al-Kuwaitiah" headlined, "Kuwait and its people are today relieved with the return of Sabah .. the leader of pride." (end) fz.rk
