KUWAIT, Oct 16 (KUNA) -- Minister of Justice and Minister of State for parliament affairs Dr. Mohammad Al-Afasi welcomed Wednesday the safe return home of His Highness the Amir Sheikh Sabah Al-Ahmad Al-Jaber Al-Sabah following successful medical tests in the US.
"The whole of Kuwait is extremely happy with the return of His Highness the Amir which reflects how citizens and expatriates have so much love for him," Al-Afasi said in a statement.
He said His Highness the Amir's generosity has reached people in need in many parts of the world, indeed granting him the "Humanitarian Leader" title by the UN.
His Highness the Amir returned home earlier today after completing successful medical checkups in the US. (end)
