DAI chief takes part in Global Tourism Economy Forum

BEIJING, Oct 14 (KUNA) -- The Global Tourism Economy Forum 2019 kicked off on Monday in Macau, China, tackling means of enhancing commercial relations with China, especially in the tourism industry field, with the participation of Director General of Kuwait's Dar Al-Athar Al-Islamiyyah (DAI) Sheikha Hessa Al-Sabah.
Kuwait's General Consul to Hong Kog and Macau Salah Al-Seif said in remarks to KUNA that Sheikha Hessa Al-Sabah will take part in the Forum held between October 13-15, as being an official speaker in the main discussion panel of the event.
Sheikha Hessa distinguished efforts exerted in the field of Islamic ruins gave here the opportunity to take part in this forum as she will give a speech on the key role culture plays as a diplomatic tool among world nations.
Meanwhile, Kuwait's Ambassador to China Sameeh Hayat hailed choosing Sheikha Hessa to participate in this global event, which reflected deep-rooted historic ties between Kuwait and China.
The Global Tourism Economy Forum is held annually in Macau with the support of China, with the European Union as an official partner. It aims at encouraging World Tourism Economy. (end) mab.lb
