Syrian army moves north to confront Turkish "aggression" - SANA

AMMAN, Oct 13 (KUNA) -- Some units of the Syrian army moved on Sunday towards north to face the Turkish troops which launched an "aggression" on the Syrian territory, Syrian Arab News Agency (SANA) said.
This move comes to confront the ongoing Turkish aggression on towns and areas in the north of Hasaka and Raqqa provinces, the agency added.
The Turkish troops have "occupied some Syrian towns and villages, damaging infrastructure and aggravating the humanitarian situation in the targeted areas", it noted.
It unveiled that the US forces stationed in north and east of the Euphrates River have moved some of its personnel to Iraq, as part of its plan to pullout the area. (end) mjb.hm
