NEW YORK, Sept 26 (KUNA) -- Promoting bilateral relations was the focus of a meeting held on Thursday between Kuwait Deputy Prime Minister and Foreign Minister Sheikh Sabah Khaled Al-Hamad Al-Sabah and his Djiboutian counterpart Mahmoud Ali Youssef in New York.
The meeting was held on the sidelines of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly.
The two officials reviewed the latest developments on regional and international levels.
In addition, they discussed the nomination of Djibouti to obtain a non-permanent membership at the UN Security Council for 2021-2020, and means of bilateral collaboration in this regard.
The meeting was attended by Assistant Foreign Minister for the Foreign Minister's office affairs Sheikh Ambassador Ahmad Nasser Al-Mohammad Al-Sabah, Kuwait's Permanent Representative to the UN Ambassador Mansour Al-Otaibi and some senior official at the ministry. (end) tb.hm
