Israel's Knesset elections kick off Tues.

RAMALLAH, Sept 17 (KUNA) -- Israelis started casting their votes on Tuesday to choose 120 Knesset members (parliament), in the second elections since last April.
There are about six million and 300,000 eligible to vote in the elections, said Israel radio.
The elections will see competition between 29 lists and parties, including the "Joint List", consisting of the main Arab-dominated political parties in Israel. Meanwhile, the main competition will be between the right-wing Likud party, led by Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and the centrist Blue and White party, led by Benny Gantz. (end) nq.ag
