Lebanese PM condemns targeting of Aramco oil facilities in Saudi

BEIRUT, Sept 15 (KUNA) -- Lebanese Prime Minister Saad Al-Hariri condemned, on Sunday, the drone attacks on Saudi Arabia's crude oil facilities on the previous day, considering it a dangerous escalation that threatens to widen conflicts in the region.
"This attack carries great responsibilities on the international community to put an end to all the instruments of aggression and terrorism that are sweeping the Arab countries and expose regional stability to further confusion in mobile conflicts," Al-Hariri's media office quoted him as saying.
He stressed Lebanon's stands with the Kingdom of Saudi Arabia and that "the attack is one of a series of attacks targeting the Arabian Gulf, and the regional and international security".
He called on Arab nations to stand against dangers that threaten the region and predict the worst consequences on more than one level, he added.
On Saturday, Saudi Interior Ministry said drones targeted two Aramco plants in Saudi Arabia, triggering fires. (end) ayb.nhq
