MUSCAT, Sept 5 (KUNA) -- Oman Future Telecommunication and the British telecommunications giant Vodafone inked on Thursday a partnership accord to become the third service provider in Oman.
Oman News Agency said the accord covers primary and operating services, technical and know-how backup.
Operations are scheduled to kick off next year and proceed for 15 years.
The Omani company said in a statement that Vodafone would not own a stake in the company capital because the accord stipulates that it provides basic services for the new company for 15 years. (end) ma.rk
